- 6–8 oz sturdy tortilla chips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend, cheddar, or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup cooked taco-seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken (or black beans for vegetarian)
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 tablespoons sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- Sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for topping
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place a layer of tortilla chips in the basket and sprinkle evenly with cheese and your choice of meat or beans.
- Add another light layer of chips and repeat with more cheese and toppings.
- Air fry for 4–6 minutes until the cheese is melted and chips are golden brown.
- Remove carefully and top with tomatoes, onions, and jalapeños.
- Finish with sour cream, guacamole, and cilantro before serving.
Notes
Use sturdy chips and avoid overloading the basket for even crispiness. For a vegetarian option, swap meat with black beans. Best served fresh and hot!
