- 1 cup cranberry sauce (canned or homemade)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and salt and pepper, mixing until smooth.
- Fold in the cranberry sauce and shredded cheddar cheese, mixing well. If using, add the chopped walnuts.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
