A delightful dish combining Cajun seasoning with creamy stroganoff flavors, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  6. Push the veggies to the side of the pan.
  7. Add seasoned shrimp, and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  8. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  9. Stir in sour cream and mix until sauce is creamy and heated through.
  10. Add cooked noodles to the pan and mix well.
  11. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  12. Garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

To ensure shrimp are tender, avoid overcooking. Adjust seasoning to taste.
