Description

A delightful dessert that brings a burst of summer flavors, rich and fluffy with sweetness from fresh fruits.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.
  2. Spread the pitted cherries and blueberries evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the fruits in the dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute almond milk and use honey or maple syrup instead of sugar. For gluten-free, use almond flour.
