Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Oil for frying
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and cheese until well combined.
  2. To assemble, place a few spoonfuls of the chicken mixture on each tortilla and roll them tightly.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the taquitos until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve hot with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

For a lighter version, use whole wheat tortillas or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes. Avoid overfilling the tortillas to prevent bursting.
