Description

Quick and tasty Chicken Philly Cheese Steaks, loaded with melted provolone cheese and fresh veggies.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add sliced peppers and onion to the skillet and sauté until softened.
  4. Layer the cooked chicken and veggies into hoagie rolls.
  5. Top with provolone cheese.
  6. Broil in the oven until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

Use whole wheat hoagie rolls or low fat provolone to cut calories. Add more veggies like mushrooms or spinach for fiber.
