Description

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Egg noodles or rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add chopped onion, mushrooms, and garlic. Sauté until onions are translucent and mushrooms are browned.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring to avoid lumps.
  6. Let simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  7. Lower the heat, stir in sour cream, and add back the cooked chicken.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve over egg noodles or rice.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken with beef or mushrooms. You can also add extra vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added flavor.
