Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for glaze
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
- Spread half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, mix granulated sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough in the pan.
- Drop the remaining dough over the cinnamon mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before combining powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze, then drizzle over the top.
Notes
Use room temperature eggs and butter for smoother mixing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer preservation.
