- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 pound cooked chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, diced chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use low-fat cottage cheese and whole-grain pasta. You can also add spinach or zucchini for extra nutrients.
