Description

A delicious, comforting dish that combines creamy cottage cheese, tender chicken, and rich marinara sauce, topped with melted mozzarella and Parmesan.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 pound cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, diced chicken, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use low-fat cottage cheese and whole-grain pasta. You can also add spinach or zucchini for extra nutrients.
