Description

Quick and crunchy snacks made from fresh banana peppers, perfect for game nights or after work relaxation.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsps sea salt
  • 1 lb fresh banana peppers or sweet peppers, sliced and seeds removed
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Mix the flour, garlic powder, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Slice the peppers and remove seeds.
  4. Dredge the pepper slices in the flour mix.
  5. Shake off extra flour.
  6. Spray the pepper coins lightly with olive oil spray.
  7. Place coins in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes until crisp.
  9. Flip halfway through for even browning.
  10. Remove and let cool for a minute.

Notes

For a nuttier taste, swap part of the flour for whole wheat flour. Use smoked paprika for added flavor.
