A hearty and warming stew made in the slow cooker, perfect for busy nights.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (3 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Transfer the beef and onion to the crock pot.
- Add the carrots, potatoes, corn, green beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 to 480 minutes or on high for 240 minutes.
- Taste and adjust salt and pepper before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy your hearty stew.
Notes
This stew can be made lighter with lean ground turkey and low sodium broth. Serve with crusty bread or steamed rice.
