Description

Refreshing and easy-to-make cucumber sandwiches, perfect for a light lunch or snack, gatherings, and tea parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with the chopped dill, salt, and pepper.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer cucumber slices on top of the cream cheese on two of the slices.
  4. Top with the other two slices of bread, cream cheese side down.
  5. Cut the sandwiches into quarters or desired shapes.
  6. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For a healthier option, swap cream cheese with Greek yogurt or hummus. You can also add avocado slices or shredded carrots for extra nutrition.
