  • 1 cup Peppermint Chips
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Candy Canes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Add egg yolks, peppermint extract, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  6. Stir in peppermint chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and crushed candy canes if using.
  7. Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies appear set.
  9. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
