- 2 slices Bread
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Spread goat cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice.
- Drizzle honey over the goat cheese.
- Top with the second slice, buttered side out.
- Heat the pan over low to medium heat.
- Place the sandwich in the pan and press gently with a spatula.
- Cook until the bottom is golden, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Flip and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is warm.
- Remove, let rest for one minute, and slice to serve.
Notes
Use low to medium heat to avoid burning the bread while warming the cheese. Let the goat cheese come to room temperature for easy spreading. Wrap leftover sandwiches in foil or airtight containers and chill for up to two days.
