Description

Quick, soft, and flavorful Greek yogurt biscuits perfect for slow mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Butter, for slathering

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mix looks like coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the Greek yogurt until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  6. Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut into rounds.
  7. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden.
  8. Slather with butter and drizzle with honey before serving.

Notes

Keep the butter cold for flaky layers. Mix just until the dough holds; do not overwork it. Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
