- 1 pound Sirloin steak (Cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 1 pound Large shrimp (Peeled and deveined)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil (For marinating)
- 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter (Melted)
- 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (Chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- to taste Salt (For seasoning the sauce)
Instructions
- Cut the sirloin into 1-inch cubes and place them in a large bowl.
- Add olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the steak and mix.
- Let the steak marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the butter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
- Thread the marinated steak and shrimp onto skewers, alternating the pieces.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
- Turn the skewers once or twice so the steak cooks evenly and the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
- Remove the skewers from the grill when the steak reaches your desired doneness and the shrimp is cooked.
- Drizzle the garlic butter sauce over the skewers before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use lean sirloin and substitute half the butter with extra-virgin olive oil. Add vegetables like bell pepper or zucchini on the skewers for added flavor.
