Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and the ground beef and cook until the beef is browned.
  4. Stir in the halved Brussels sprouts and season with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
  5. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring now and then, until the Brussels sprouts are tender.
  6. Serve the dish warm.

Notes

For a lighter version, use lean ground beef or mix in ground turkey. Adding a splash of lemon juice can brighten the dish.
