Crispy on the outside and soft inside, these Hashbrown Sausage Bites are perfect for breakfast or as a party snack.
Ingredients

- 2 cups frozen hashbrowns
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix the hashbrowns, sausage, cheese, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Take small portions and flatten them into bite-sized patties.
- Fry the patties about 3 to 4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
- Drain the cooked bites on paper towels.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
For a healthier version, swap half the sausage for cooked turkey or use reduced-fat cheese. Bake at 425°F for 15 to 20 minutes instead of frying.
