Description

A light and tasty cake filled with fresh fruit, perfect for warm nights and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of angel food cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • 1 cup of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 cups of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup of sliced peaches or fruit cocktail

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the angel food cake mix and water until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into an ungreased cake pan.
  4. Bake the cake as the box tells you.
  5. Beat the cream cheese until smooth in another bowl.
  6. Add powdered sugar slowly and mix well.
  7. Fold in the whipped topping gently.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Cut the cake into layers.
  10. Spread cream cheese mix on each layer.
  11. Add mixed berries and sliced peaches between layers.
  12. Top with the remaining cream cheese mix and berries.
  13. Chill the cake for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Make sure the cake cools fully before cutting. Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth mix. Reserve some berries for topping.
