Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour until smooth.
- Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring continuously until thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve the chicken with gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
For a healthier option, use skinless chicken breasts and low-fat milk. You can also add chopped herbs and vegetables for extra flavor.
