Delightful sweet and zesty wings coated in a sticky honey lemon glaze, perfect for dinner or game nights.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2 cup potato starch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Oil spray
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp ground pepper
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 450°F.
- Pat dry the chicken wings with a paper towel.
- Add the potato starch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to the chicken wings. Toss to coat.
- Lightly spray oil onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place the chicken wings on the sheet pan in a single layer.
- Spray the tops of the chicken wings with a bit more oil.
- Decrease the oven temperature to 425°F and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Flip the wings halfway through and spray a bit more oil on top.
- In a small saucepan on medium heat, add honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, butter, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer the sauce for 3 to 5 minutes until well combined.
- Once the wings are done, transfer them to a bowl and toss to coat with the honey lemon pepper sauce.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake without oil spray and use sugar-free honey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
