- 3–4 lb beef chuck roast
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.
- In a Dutch oven, heat some oil over medium heat and brown the roast on all sides.
- Remove the roast and set it aside.
- In the same pot, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add beef broth, French onion soup, and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well.
- Return the roast to the pot and cover it.
- Place in the oven and cook for 3-4 hours until the meat is tender.
- Let it rest before slicing, and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
