- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup lemon curd
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Spread the lemon curd evenly at the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the lemon curd.
- In another bowl, mix the cake mix with melted butter and water until combined.
- Pour this mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm or chilled.
Notes
For a healthier option, consider using whole wheat cake mix or low-fat cream cheese.
