- 4 chicken breasts, boneless skinless
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In one dish, mix breadcrumbs, half of the grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In another dish, beat the eggs and milk together.
- Place flour in a third dish.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, coating it well.
- Dip the flour-coated chicken into the egg mixture until fully covered.
- Roll the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture until it is fully coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix the remaining Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella, and minced garlic.
- Top each chicken breast with the cheese mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 20–25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Notes
Ensure chicken breasts are evenly sized for even cooking. Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F.
