- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 chicken sausages, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage and brown it in the skillet.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for one minute.
- Add orzo pasta and pour in chicken broth, then bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover the skillet, and simmer for ten minutes.
- Add broccoli florets, cover, and cook five more minutes until orzo and broccoli are tender.
- Stir in grated parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper, then serve warm.
