Description

Bright and soft cookies that capture the taste of summer, resembling a classic creamsicle treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box orange cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Mix the orange cake mix, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Fold in the white chocolate chips if you use them.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
  7. Move the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust the cookies with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For a fun twist, substitute white chocolate chips for orange zest, or use applesauce for part of the oil to reduce fat.
