Ingredients
- Feta cheese
- Phyllo pastry
- Butter (for brushing)
- Chili honey (or honey mixed with chili flakes)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, crumble feta cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Take a sheet of phyllo pastry, brush it with melted butter, and place another sheet on top.
- Place a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end of the pastry and roll it up, tucking in the sides to seal.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with more melted butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Drizzle with chili honey before serving. Enjoy as a delicious appetizer.
Notes
For a healthier option, use low-fat feta cheese and olive oil instead of butter. Experiment with spinach or herbs in the filling for extra flavor.
