These Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls are a delightful shortcut to the classic holiday dessert, wrapping a gooey, nutty filling in a warm, flaky pastry. They offer all the beloved flavors of traditional pecan pie in a fraction of the time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for drizzle)
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (for drizzle)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (for drizzle)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped pecans, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of pecan filling onto the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up tightly from the wide end to the tip and pinch the sides to seal.
  6. Place rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10–12 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  8. While still warm, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup for the glaze.
  9. Brush glaze over rolls and sprinkle with chopped pecans if desired.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or coffee. You can reduce sugar or use a brown sugar substitute. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
