Description

Delicious Peppermint Oreo Balls perfect for the holidays or quick treats at home.


Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate or candy melts
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy or candy canes
  • Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies to fine crumbs.
  2. Mix crumbs with cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Scoop small amounts and roll into 1-inch balls.
  4. Place balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls for 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the white chocolate in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  7. Dip each chilled ball in melted chocolate and set back on the sheet.
  8. Sprinkle crushed peppermint on top before the chocolate sets.
  9. Chill again until the coating is firm.
  10. Store in an airtight container or serve once set.

Notes

Work with chilled balls for a smooth dip; if the chocolate thickens, warm it a little more.
