Description

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Ricotta cheese
  • Fresh thyme
  • Rustic bread
  • Honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Salt
  • Olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the strawberries and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the strawberries with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Roast the strawberries for 15 to 20 minutes until soft and caramelized.
  5. Whisk the ricotta with a pinch of salt and honey or maple syrup if desired.
  6. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
  7. Spread the whipped ricotta over each toast slice.
  8. Top the ricotta with the roasted strawberries.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
