Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries
- Ricotta cheese
- Fresh thyme
- Rustic bread
- Honey or maple syrup (optional)
- Salt
- Olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the strawberries and place them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the strawberries with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Roast the strawberries for 15 to 20 minutes until soft and caramelized.
- Whisk the ricotta with a pinch of salt and honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
- Spread the whipped ricotta over each toast slice.
- Top the ricotta with the roasted strawberries.
- Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
