Description

A bright and fresh salsa perfect for tacos, grilled fish, or as a side for rice and beans.


Ingredients

  • 4 Fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes.
  2. Dice the onions.
  3. Chop the cilantro.
  4. Add tomatoes, onions, lime juice, lime zest, cilantro, and a pinch of salt into a bowl.
  5. Mix well with a spoon.
  6. Let the mix sit for 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  7. Taste and add more salt if needed.
  8. Serve at room temperature or chilled.

Notes

Best when served fresh on the same day. Adjust salt and lime to taste for optimal flavor.
