- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 2 cups of apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix diced apples, caramel sauce, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface.
- Cut the crust into circles.
- Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each circle.
- Fold the crust over and pinch the edges to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Place the pie bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool a few minutes before serving warm with ice cream if you like.
