  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 cups of apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix diced apples, caramel sauce, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface.
  4. Cut the crust into circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold the crust over and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  8. Place the pie bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool a few minutes before serving warm with ice cream if you like.
