Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For lighter options, use olive oil instead of butter and add spinach or broccoli.
