- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream the softened butter with the brown and granulated sugars until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
- Add the dry mix to the wet mix until combined.
- Stir in oats and raisins until even.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cookies cool on the sheet a few minutes, then move to wire racks.
Notes
To keep cookies soft, store in an airtight container with a slice of bread.
