Description
A cozy pasta bake filled with ricotta and spinach, topped with marinara and mozzarella.
Ingredients

- 20 large pasta shells
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup spinach, cooked and chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package directions and drain.
- Mix ricotta, spinach, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spoon the ricotta mixture into each shell.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the stuffed shells in the dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top if you like.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for 10 to 15 more minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest a few minutes, then serve warm.
Notes
Use a large spoon or small scoop to fill shells evenly. Avoid overfilling to prevent splitting.
