Description

Delightful Strawberry Cream Puffs filled with fresh strawberries and sweetened whipped cream, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Whipping cream, sweetened with icing sugar
  • Strawberry jam
  • White cocoa syrup
  • Icing sugar for sprinkling
  • Melted chocolate for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut out your desired shapes.
  3. If using rectangles, halve the pastry to ensure you have two pieces for each puff.
  4. Brush the tops of the pastry with egg wash.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven until golden and puffed up, about 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  7. Slice the puff pastry shapes open carefully.
  8. Spoon 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam inside each piece.
  9. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream with icing sugar and white cocoa syrup until soft peaks form.
  10. Pipe the whipped cream over the jam filling.
  11. Top with freshly sliced strawberries.
  12. Close the pastry top over the filling.
  13. Dust with icing sugar.
  14. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top.

Notes

For a healthier twist, use whole wheat puff pastry or Greek yogurt instead of whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
