Description

These rich and tender Sweet Red Velvet Brownie Bites are perfect for parties or a quick treat at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
  2. Whisk the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Mix the melted butter, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mix into the dry mix and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  6. Spoon batter into each cup, filling about two-thirds full.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove to a wire rack.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For a lower sugar version, swap half the granulated sugar for coconut sugar. You can also replace half the flour with oat flour for a nutty taste. Use Greek yogurt in place of half the butter to cut fat and add protein.
