Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3 large eggs

  2. Prepare the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden.

Notes

For a healthier version, consider a whole-grain crust or using dark chocolate chips and honey instead of sugar. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
