A rich and comforting pasta dish featuring ground beef in a creamy garlic butter sauce, perfect for a cozy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (or Sirloin Tips)
  • 12 oz Pasta (Penne, Fusilli, or Bowtie)
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 5 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  4. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
  5. Drain any excess grease and remove the beef from the pan; set it aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  7. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant and the butter looks slightly golden.
  8. Whisk in the beef broth and heavy cream.
  9. Stir in the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  10. Let the sauce simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until it thickens a bit.
  11. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  12. Add the cooked beef and the pasta back into the skillet.
  13. Toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
  14. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, then serve right away.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and Parmesan for the best flavor. To store, cool quickly and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
