Ingredients

- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup peas
- 1 can of biscuit dough
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Layer the onion, carrot, garlic, and seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
- Top with soup, thyme, and water.
- Cook on High until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove the herbs and shred the chicken.
- Stir in celery and peas.
- Slice the biscuits in half and place on top of the chicken mixture.
- Add pepper to taste.
- Cook on High for 3 more hours, stirring once every half hour, and serve.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use whole-wheat biscuit dough and add extra vegetables. Adjust the seasonings to taste before serving.
