Description

A tropical smoothie bowl combining frozen fruits and coconut milk, topped with fresh fruits and toasted coconut.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 frozen banana, plus chopped fresh bananas for serving
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks, plus chopped fresh pineapple for serving
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp. agave syrup, honey, or pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup shredded toasted coconut
  • Store-bought or homemade granola
  • Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, or fruit topping of choice

Instructions

  1. Combine in a blender the frozen banana, mango, and frozen pineapple chunks.
  2. Add the coconut milk and syrup.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Transfer the smoothie to a serving bowl.
  5. Top with shredded coconut, chopped fresh bananas, and fresh pineapples.
  6. Add any additional fruit toppings you desire.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute some coconut milk with unsweetened almond milk or add spinach/kale for nutrients.
