- 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and diced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add cooked chicken, honey, and black pepper; stir to combine.
- Pour in milk and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the macaroni to the skillet and mix well.
- If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and broil for a few minutes until golden.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
Notes
Try using leftover rotisserie chicken for a quick meal. For a dairy-free version, substitute with plant milk and dairy-free cheese.
