Description

A delightful combination of sweet and salty, this Trash Bark is quick to make and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 oz. semisweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, warmed
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 2/3 cup M&M’s

Instructions

  1. Microwave chocolate in a small heatproof bowl in 15-second increments, stirring between each, until melted and smooth, about 1 minute total.
  2. Pour melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading it with a spatula to fully cover the bottom.
  3. Drizzle warmed peanut butter over the melted chocolate.
  4. Drag a toothpick in the opposite direction of the peanut butter drizzle to create a swirl.
  5. Top the chocolate mixture with crushed potato chips, pretzels, and M&M’s.
  6. Refrigerate the bark to set for about 60 minutes.
  7. Once set, break into pieces to serve.

Notes

Make sure to use a microwave-safe bowl and watch the chocolate closely while it melts. Stirring between increments is essential to prevent burning.
